Fluoroquinolone antibiotics – AIFA survey to evaluate the impact of information initiatives on healthcare professionals

AIFA considers it is important to evaluate how the safety information on fluoroquinolone antibiotics, disseminated by the Agency also through dedicated channels and means, has reached healthcare workers and whether it has been useful in encouraging a more appropriate use of these drugs.

Therefore, the Agency promotes a survey aimed at regional Pharmacovigilance Centres, Scientific Societies and involved associations, which have been asked to collaborate in disseminating the recommendations developed at European level and translated into documents intended for patients and healthcare professionals.

Survey link is: https://it.surveymonkey.com/r/fluorochinoloni.

The responses, which will remain anonymous, will provide useful elements for planning any new information campaigns on the topic.
