This section provides information regarding online payment methods as provided for by Article 36 of Legislative Decree no. 33 of 14 March 2013 and as indicated by ANAC Decision 1310/2016 and by Article 5, paragraph 1, of Legislative Decree no. 82 of 7 March 2005.

IBAN AIFA linked to PagoPA system

Online payments to the Italian Medicines Agency must be made through the POL online payment system, integrated with the PagoPA platform referred to in Article 5, paragraph 2, of Legislative Decree no. 82 of 7 March 2005.

Entities not resident in Italy or not holding bank accounts with banks that have an agreement with the PagoPA payment system may make payments to AIFA by bank transfer in EUR to the following bank accounts:

Payments by Public Administrations

From 1 January 2025, all public administrations in special accounting and in State Treasury, including AIFA, have been associated with a new IBAN published on the website of the Department of the General Accounting Office of the State (MEF-RgS Circulars No. 41, 42 and 43 of 16 December 2024).

The full IBAN must be indicated in all payments and no longer the old 6-digit code (320426).
