This section allows to consult interactively the national data on expenditure and consumption. The years 2019 and 2018 is currently available with the following levels of detail:

• Approved care regime: expenditure and consumption. Data relating to per capita expenditure and consumption (DDD per 1000 inhab die) in approved care regime, at regional and national level
• Purchases by public health facilities: expenditure and consumption. Data relating to per capita expenditure and consumption (DDD per 1000 inhab die) for purchases by health facilities directly managed by the National Health Service (NHS), at regional and national level
• Gross per capita expenditure and consumption by ATC. Data relating to the expenditure for medicines purchased by the NHS, by ATC level. It is possible to select only one region from the map of Italy, and an ATC level I from the pie chart, to view the data relating to the selection made in the available graphs
• Expenditure and consumption by ATC - Analytical. Data relating to expenditure for medicines purchased by the NHS, by ATC level. This search is more analytical than the previous one, allowing to select one or more regions and one or more level I ATCs, to view the data relating to the selection made in the available graphs
• Expenditure and consumption by therapeutic category. Data relating to the expenditure for medicines purchased by the NHS, at the level of groups and subgroups. It is possible to select only one region from the map of Italy, and a group from the pie chart, to view the data relating to the selection made in the available graphs
• Expenditure and consumption by therapeutic category - Analytical. Data relating to the expenditure for medicines purchased by the NHS, at the level of groups and subgroups. This search is more analytical than the previous one, allowing to select one or more regions and one or more groups, to view the data relating to the selection made in the available graphs.
